Southeast Coalition of Authentic Reenactors

The SCAR,in conjunction with the Armory Guard, hosted a living history in Atlanta, GA this past weekend.  The event provided insight into the lives of the soldiers who fought in and around Atlanta during July of 1864.  The SCAR participated as Federal soldiers and occupied earthworks and ground that was used during the Civil War.  Many visitors stopped by during the two-day event to watch the SCAR perform drill and weapons demonstrations.  These visitors were able to speak with the men who made up the ranks and learned much about the history of Atlanta during the Civil War.
